Nancy was shy until about 7th grade, then she found her voice and hasn’t stopped using it since. Her love of wine, food, artisan products stems from growing up in Sonoma surrounded by her natural surroundings, dogs, horses, chickens, gardens, history and the love of all things raised by hand. She developed her creative thinking at Saint Mary’s College, that over the years has helped her have a successful career in public relations, marketing and sales. McEvoy Ranch Olive Oil kicked off her specialty food career that has blossomed into wine and food education seminars for such exclusive companies as Regent Seven Seas Cruise Lines. She was the creative source behind the publication, Concierge North Bay, the first hard-bound, objective visitor’s guide to Napa and Sonoma’s Wine Country. Working diligently to give back to her community, she has served on the board of the Sonoma Valley Visitor’s Bureau as a founding member of the Olive Festival, the board of the Sonoma League for Historic Preservation working on numerous fundraising and community events. She currently serves on the Sonoma County Historic Landmarks Commissioner. She has created custom Farm to Table tours for top chefs and wine industry professionals, historic walking and helicopter tours of Sonoma County’s most beautiful towns and vineyards. At any given time you can find her tending her bee-hives or at the Grand Tasting at Aspen Food & Wine. An invitation to her home is considered to be a seat a the “best restaurant in Sonoma.” She is sincerely dedicated to the success of each brand she represents, and enjoys a good old fashioned, competitive market blitz with distributor reps.
